INDOOR 2026 - 27 GRASSROOTS OPEN HOUSE,
PLAYER PLACEMENT & TRYOUT INFORMATION

Edmonton Southwest United Soccer Club (SWU) will be holding Indoor 2026-27 Player Placement and Tryouts for players interested in competing in the club program for the upcoming outdoor season.​

Fee, Registration & Scheduling

• Placement / Tryout Fee: $20.00 due at time of registration

• Grassroots Open House: No Fee

• All players must register in advance to attend placements & tryouts | LINKS BELOW

What to Expect

• Structured evaluation sessions led by SWU’s technical staff and coaches

• Assessment of technical ability, tactical understanding, athleticism, and game awareness

• Placement consideration across appropriate tiers and age groups

• A transparent and development-focused evaluation process

 

Who Should Attend

• Returning SWU players seeking placement for Indoor 2026-27

• New players interested in joining SWU for the Indoor Season

• Players committed to consistent attendance, training standards, and team culture

• Goalkeepers: please attend your age group tryouts as listed below

Important Notes

• All sessions will take place at Ivor Dent MTRS (NE corner of Ellerslie Rd & 50 St)

• Final team formation is subject to registration numbers, league requirements, and coach availability

• Participation in tryouts does not guarantee placement on a team

• Successful players will receive follow-up communication outlining next steps, timelines, and registration details
