SWU 1997 Boys Win Silver at Calgary Tournament, January 2010

The SWU 1997 Boys’ team has been adopted by Green and Gold Soccer Academy as a feature team. The team practices regularly with Green and Gold Director, Len Vickery. The team will also attend the 2010 Green and Gold spring camp.

Our regular outdoor plan for 2010 calls for a minimum of four activities each week (three practices and one game). Our goal keepers will attend two training sessions each week through the Last Line of Defence goal keeper training program.

The team will play in two tournaments during the outdoor season; at least one of them will be out of town. We are also looking forward to participating again this year in a special training camp offered by coaches associated with Benfica Soccer Club from Portugal.
