Program and Team Philosophy

Through a competitive sport environment, our year-round program provides each athlete with the opportunity to become a strong soccer player, a well-rounded athlete and to acquire skills to enjoy physical activity across their entire life.

To reach your performance potential, your overall accomplishment in soccer is about the way you express your skills (technical), your fitness (physical), your ability to play the game smartly (tactical) and, finally, the mind-control and composure you show while preparing and playing the game (mental).

Young developmental athletes often undertrain and overcompete. The OUTCOME (i.e. winning) becomes the focus at the expense of optimal training and development (PROCESS). Lack of general motor skill development at young ages cannot be restored at later ages leading to a reduced potential for peak performance.

Our program embraces features of the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program which promotes optimal training, competition and recovery with relation to biological development and maturation. This program develops “physical literacy” or acquistion of fundamental motor skills (RJT = Run /Jump /Throw, ABC = Agility / Balance / Coordination) and basic sport skills (CKS = Catch / Kick/Strike).
