We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic and competitive players to enrich our squad as we move into our U16 Tier 1 season - a Nationals year - and welcome YOU to tryouts and open practices. We are in particular need of a second keeper. There is no fee to attend these sessions; however we ask that each player complete a tryout registration form.

To date, the team is booked for a Spring training camp in Victoria, BC to kick off the season from March 26 to April 4, 2010. We have also been accepted to the prestigious Umbro Showcase tournament in Mississauga Ontario from May 21-24, 2010. It will be an exciting summer; we are keen to compete at the highest level while developing strong athletes and lasting friendships.

Southwest United 1994 Girls competed in the San Diego Surf College Cup in November in the U16 Gold division. The team played 3 games and ended up with 3 ties (0-0, 0-0 and 1-1). It was an excellent experience for the team to play against some very physical, fast-paced teams. The girls responded very well and played some fine soccer!
