SWU’s mandate is to offer the highest quality competitive and developmental programs for our youth and adult soccer players utilizing skilled and dedicated instructors.

Youth players can come out and develop their soccer skills, have fun, meet new friends, and get exposed to soccer in a fun, exciting, healthy and character-building environment. Our club is dedicated to the development of the individual both as a person and as a skilled, competitive soccer athlete at whatever level they choose to pursue.

Congratulations to Sofia Quinteros (2002G) for making the Alberta Zone 6 Girls U14 soccer team that participated in the 2014 Alberta Summer Games held in Airdrie this past summer.

Congratulations to Rian Santos (2002G) for making the first cut of the Danone Nations Cup selection process.

Congratulations to Sofia Quinteros (2002G) and Emily Fong (2002G) for having been selected to participate in the U13 North 2014-15 winter training program. This program is another step towards possible selection to the Alberta North team that will participate in a 2015 tournament in Vancouver.

In 2012, the Southwest United Sports Club was fortunate to receive a grant of $9,788.35 from
the Government of Alberta's Culture and Community Services COMMUNITY SPIRIT program. Funds will be used to offset the cost of training facilities and technical trainers.
